2008 Pool Results
The 2008 Sevens will be played on the Padang over the weekend of 1st and 2nd November.
Last year’s champions, SA Vipers, will be returning to defend their cup with a side of young players on their way to the top ranks of South African rugby. Perennial favourites, Davetalevu from and last years finalists, Ponsonby from will also be entertaining the crowd with a mixture of experienced and developing players.
We have already received generous commitments of support from old and new sponsors but more is welcome – please let us know if you need more details.
This year, for the first time, we are planning to have floodlights and so we will playing matches into the early evening.
The SCC Sevens is a fun, family event – bring the kids along and they can enjoy our new “rugby playground”.
