The 2009 tournament dates for the SCC International Rugby 7s are confirmed for 6-8th November and intend to incorporate the Schools & Colleges tournament into the same weekend. This will mean that some games will be played on the Friday. more
SA Vipers Successfully defend their title to take the 2008 Ablitt Cup
Congratulations to the SA Vipers for successfully defending their title in a close fought final against Davetalevu 10-5.

Scottish Thistles beat new comers Cottesloe 19-7 for the Shield Final whilst the Thai Barbarians overcame Impala to take the Plate 24-19. Indonesia Barbarians, having accepted a last minute invitation 48hrs before claimed the Bowl final beating Kurumi 20-10.
